Research

Cancer research and clinical trials are vital to increase our understanding of how to prevent and treat cancer and improve support and care for people affected by cancer.

Patients may be invited to participate in a research study or a clinical trial to test new treatments, or they may ask health professionals what clinical trials are relevant to them.
You can find current clinical trials for head and neck cancer by visiting the Australian Cancer Trials website:  http://www.australiancancertrials.gov.au/
