About Us

Every day in Australia 15 people are diagnosed with a type of Head and Neck Cancer.

Head and Neck Cancer Australia, established in 2016, is the only national charity dedicated to supporting people affected by these cancers. We provide free, trusted information and specialist support through Australia's first Head and Neck Cancer Helpline to support people affected by Head and Neck Cancer.

We represent and support more than 5,600 Australians who are newly diagnosed each year, and over 17,000 people diagnosed in the past five years who are living with the long-term impacts of this cancer across Australia.

We also lead national advocacy efforts to drive prevention, increase early diagnosis and improve the quality of life of people living with Head and Neck Cancer.

At the heart of everything we do is a deep commitment to working closely with clinicians across all Head and Neck Cancer specialties, alongside patients and carers across Australia, to achieve our mission.
