Shaun is a healthcare and life sciences leader with over 15 years' experience spanning clinical practice, health service management and senior advisory roles.

He began his career as a head and neck cancer speech pathologist, working within multidisciplinary teams at major tertiary referral hospitals in Australia and the UK.

Shaun has since held senior roles with global consulting firms Deloitte and Kearney, advising healthcare and life sciences companies, investors and governments on commercial and growth strategy, clinical governance, operations and major transactions. This has included working alongside commercial leaders on their response to major structural reform across the Australian and UK healthcare systems. He has a particular interest in developing cross-sector partnerships that increase investment and improve outcomes.

He is currently the Chief Commercial Officer for an Australian biotechnology company, in addition to advising on investment and innovation in women's health with the George Institute for Global Health and the World Economic Forum's Global Alliance for Women's Health.

Shaun is proud to bring his clinical background together with his partnerships, governance and commercial experience to HANCA's Board, and looks forward to contributing to a community that shaped the start of his career.
