A/Prof Sweet Ping Ng
A/Prof Sweet Ping Ng is the Director of Research and a Radiation Oncologist at the Austin Health in Melbourne.
She has experience leading multidisciplinary teams, securing national and international research funding, and managing large-scale clinical trials.
Sweet Ping has contributed to governance and policy through active roles in professional organisations including the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR), the Australasian Gastro-Intestinal Trials Group (AGITG), and the Trans-Tasman Radiation Oncology Group (TROG). She is also the global clinical lead of the Head and Neck Tumour Site Group of the MR-Linac Consortium.
Sweet Ping's commitment to improving patient outcomes is demonstrated through a strong track record of academic leadership, more than 90 peer-reviewed publications, and invited national and international presentations. Her clinical and research focus has been dedicated to head and neck cancers, bringing both professional expertise and a personal commitment to ensuring patients and families receive equitable access to care, support, and advocacy.
